Professor Glover has expertise in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He has received the City of Clearwater City Manager Affirmative Action Award and Letter of Accommodation by City of Clearwater Police Department. He is also active in local F.O.P Lodge 4, Board of Managers, Clearwater, Y.M.C.A.

As Captain of the Patrol Division, he assisted in the implementation of substations and community policing. Professor Glover earned his Bachelors Degree from Saint Leo University in 1979, and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida in 1982.
In 1983, Professor Glover began teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, and has been teaching Criminal Investigations at USF for over twenty years. In 1983, he also became an adjunct professor at Saint Leo University. Upon retiring from the Clearwater Police Department in 1992 with the rank of Captain of Detectives, he was appointed to the position of Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Saint Leo University.

Aside from his academic responsibilities, Professor Glover is the President of Criminal Justice Consulting Services, Inc, which offers consulting services, including the development and administration of promotional examinations for both local and state agencies. He is also qualified as an expert witness in the field of criminal justice
