Dr. Craig Cleveland is associate chair of the Department of Management & Business Administration and an assistant professor of Management for the Donald R. Tapia School of Business at Saint Leo University.

He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Shorter College and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Argosy University.
Prior to joining the faculty at Saint Leo, Dr. Cleveland was an adjunct professor for Shorter College and Strayer University. He also worked as a criminal investigator with the Atlanta Judicial Public Defender’s office and served as a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) from 1985-2001. During his career, he held the position of Assistant Country Attaché at the American Embassy in Ankara, Turkey.
Dr. Cleveland has trained and lectured many foreign national police officers in India, Russia, Egypt, Romania, Pakistan, United Kingdom, Bolivia, Peru, and Panama. While employed with the DEA, he was awarded three commendations for outstanding performance, including the United States Attorney’s Award. He also received the Administrator’s Award, the DEA’s highest honor.
His professional and research interests are in organizational behavior and management, leadership, and international business. He has been featured in numerous academic publications.
