About
Dr. Frank Arnold is a tenured Professor of Public Administration, Management, and Human Resources in the Donald R. Tapia School of Business. He is also a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), certified by the Society of Human Resource Management.

Dr. Arnold joined the faculty at Saint Leo University in August 1988. He is a frequent facilitator and guest speaker at professional and civic meetings.

Dr. Arnold teaches MBA and undergraduate courses in subjects that include professional development (MBA); management fundamentals; management information systems; business communications; organizational behavior and development; human resources management; training and development; staffing and recruiting; business, government,and society; strategic management; and public administration.

Experience
Dr. Arnold began his college-level teaching experience in 1981. He maintains classroom experiences at six higher education academic institutions, including three teaching experiences in Beijing, China.

Before joining the university, he was a small business owner and also employed as a senior systems analyst in industry. Prior to this, he completed a distinguished 25-year career in the United States Air Force with the senior rank of Colonel.
Achievements
From 2003-2007, he was the sole faculty member appointed to the university's Board of Trustees. He recently raised $50,000 among his colleagues to establish a Great Expectations Academic Scholarship at Saint Leo University. He is also one of the 17 faculty founders of the 2004 Saint Leo Community Endowment Fund.

Aside from expertise in his disciplines, Dr. Arnold is best known for his teaching excellence, his dedication, and compassion for his students.
