Dr. Wilt has been a part of the SLU faculty for 23 years. He has expertise in the fields of poetry, Native American literature and culture, vibration, voice, sound, and Chinese exercise. He is the advisor for Alpha Phi Alpha. He is a member and advisor for Sigma Tau Delta. He is also the faculty advisor for the Sandhill Review magazine. He has been previously awarded teacher of the year by SLU in 1984, and teacher of the year by the student government in 1986, and he was also awarded the Sears and Roebuck Award in 1984.

I tutor and volunteer at farm worker’s self-help in Dade City. I also help organize poetry readings and music sharing and I give readings and 'singings' in Pasco county, and occasionally elsewhere. I aspire to relate to nature in all its aspects and forms.
