About
Dr. Rogers served for 7 years as a sworn civilian Police Officer and Investigator. Five of those years were with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC. He also served as a Criminal Investigator for the Hunt County, Texas, District Attorney’s Office. He is a certified Florida Law Enforcement Officer. While a member of the Metropolitan Police Department he served as a patrol officer, a plain clothes investigator, and a field training officer. He investigated homicides and other serious felony crimes while serving with the Hunt County District Attorney’s Office.

Dr. Rogers is a retired United States Army officer. He served as an enlisted man for five years. After being promoted to Sergeant he attended Officer Candidate School. He retired as a Colonel of Infantry having served with Ranger, Special Forces, Airborne Infantry, and Combat Engineer units. He served overseas in several countries including Iraq, Kuwait, Bosnia, Hungary, Panama and Germany.

Experience
After the fall of the Soviet Union Colonel Rogers was assigned to Task Force Russia. The Task Force was charged with locating United States military personnel that may have been held by the Russian military. Case files of Missing in Action (MIA) and Prisoner of War (POW) servicemen from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and the Cold War were researched. Dr. Rogers gained invaluable forensic investigative experience while assigned to Task Force Russia.

While serving in Bosnia Colonel Rogers gained additional law enforcement experience as a liaison between the U. S. Army and the United Nations International Police Task Force. He was involved in organizing and opening the first National Police Academy for Bosnia. The Academy was modeled after the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy. His duties were varied and included reviewing and performing background checks and investigations on new recruits, designing and building professional pistol and shotgun ranges,
Achievements
Colonel Rogers earned over 40 decorations, service medals, badges, and tabs, during his military career including the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, the Combat Action Badge, and Parachute Wings.
Hobbies & Interests
Hobbies are rebuilding, maintaining, and flying classic airplanes. He currently owns a 1956 Piper Tri-Pacer.
