The SLU IRB ensures compliance with the ethical principles of research articulated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

To learn more about the ethics and regulations regarding the use of human subjects in research, a certificate program developed by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (
CITI training) is now available to the entire Saint Leo community.
