Note: Saint Leo students have access to the Shaw Air Force Base Library. A computer lab with 10 PCs with Internet access is available. Shaw features a useful range of reference materials covering the Saint Leo curriculum.

Note on Other Area Resources

All students are encouraged to take advantage of the public libraries and university libraries in their area. Public libraries offer free borrowing privileges as well as free access to their online databases which are accessible from home. The key is obtaining a library card. Saint Leo students also have borrowing privileges at some of the area university libraries listed below. Students should always bring a South Carolina ID or drivers license when visiting any of the area college or university libraries.

Library Card Reimbursement

With the purpose of ensuring that every student has book-borrowing privileges, Saint Leo will reimburse every off-campus student for one library card from a university in their area. Students need to save their receipt and contact their Education Center about how to get reimbursed.

• Students with an active military ID and a Shaw Air Force Base Library card may also borrow materials—with a limit of two items at a time. There are 4 PCs available for general public use. Patrons can download to discs but printing is not allowed.
