A
13-course/37-hour major in international studies provides the foundation for graduate study in various international fields and as preparation for careers in diplomacy, the military, international business, law and journalism, or as a general liberal arts education.
A
minor in international studies and a
Middle-East studies certificate/minor are also offered.
Foreign Languages
All majors must take 2 courses/6 credits in any foreign language out of their General Electives. All students are also strongly encouraged to take for credit the May Session and study overseas a semester or one year in Saint Leo affiliated Study Abroad Programs (Rome, Paris, London or Barcelona), where they can take language requirements and other courses for the major.
