International Education Requirements
- First Year Students:
- Minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.7
- Transfer Students:
- Minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.3
- Knowledge of English as measured by
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or comparable instrument. Minimum TOEFL score is 550 paper-based, 78 internet based
- A minimum of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing system (IELTS)
- A minimum of a 450 on verbal component of the SAT
- Successful completion of the NASFA-recognized ESL program
- For transfer students - two semester with grades of B or higher in English composition courses at regionally accredit post-secondary institutions in the United States.

International Transfer Application Requirements
- Online: Saint Leo University Transfer Application (Free online; $40 paper)
- Print and Mail: Saint Leo University Transfer Application (Free online; $40 paper)
- Official college transcript
- Official transcript from each institution attended, covering all collegiate-level work undertaken. Good standing at each institution is required.
- Official transcripts must be sent directly from the college to Saint Leo University in a sealed envelope.
- Letter of Recommendation (PDF): Must be completed by applicant's Dean of Students or equivalent at current institution.

Requirements to Obtain the I-20
- Affidavit of Financial Ability to Pay
- Completed affidavit and supporting documents verifying that the applicant will be able to underwrite their total financial costs during their studies at Saint Leo University.
- The amount the applicant needs to show proof of funding is $33,439. *This is an estimated amount and may change

Admitted Students
- Transcript evaluations are made to determine the equivalency of transferred courses and are reviewed and mailed once the student has been admitted.
