Exceptional Alumni Challenge
There are many ways to measure a great university: the quality of its students, the credentials of its faculty, the rigor of its academic programs. You can be proud that your alma mater ranks high in each of these areas. Yet, Saint Leo continues to struggle in one area—the number of alumni who make a financial contribution to the university each year. The national average for alumni participation is in the range of 18 percent, last year the participation rate at Saint Leo was two percent.
This year the university has launched the Exceptional Alumni Challenge. The goal of this challenge is to increase the number of alumni who make a donation—of any amount—to the university. Therefore, it is not only the alumni who can make large donations who are exceptional, rather every alumnus who steps up to the challenge and makes a donation is an Exceptional Alumnus.
When you make a gift, you are…
- enabling excellence by providing resources for programs that would not be possible without your contribution.
- helping reduce the most significant obstacle current students have in achieving a college degree- the cost of tuition.
- making a statement that someone who knows saint leo best believes the university is worthy of their financial support.
- enhancing the value of your own degree.
