In conjunction with the Saint Leo University Mission Statement, the Recreation Department's mission is to enrich the educational experience and promote student/staff wellness by providing high quality, satisfying recreational experiences.
Recreation programs can enhance participant fitness, improve interpersonal skills, promote social interaction, and provide opportunities for stress reduction and enjoyment.
In addition, students employed through the Recreation Department can learn lifetime leadership management, program planning, and personal and team integrity.
