October 25, 2004 — Upcoming SLU Halloween Events:
- Saint Leo will host the annual Trick or Treat and Haunted House Program on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. for children in the local community and children of Saint Leo faculty and staff. The event will be held at Marmion/Snyder Hall. As you enter the front door of the residence hall, you will be greeted by a haunted house tour guide. - Saint Leo Faculty and Staff Halloween Contest: Saint Leo will sponsor a Halloween Contest on Friday, Oct. 29, for faculty and staff. Faculty and staff who wish to enter a competition may do so by sending an e-mail to Jennifer Garcia at jennifer.garcia@saintleo.edu or sign up in Room 5 of de Chantal Hall no later than Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m.
- There are competitions in two categories: the individual employee costume contest and the office decorations contest. The office decorations contest will include a person’s desk, area, or office. Judges will start checking office decorations at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29. The judging reception complete with witch’s brew and ghostly goodies will be at 4:30 p.m. in de Chantal Hall lobby. Winners will receive gift certificates to Outback Steakhouse.
- Dade City Annex Holds Annual Halloween Lunch Party and Open House. On Friday, Oct. 29, the staff of the Dade City Annex will host a Halloween lunch and open house for all faculty and staff from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dressing up in Halloween costumes is optional. Lunch is being supplied by Saint Leo University as part of the open house.
