February 23, 2006 — This year Saint Leo University will host the Sunshine State Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament that will take place at the Marion Bowman Activities Center from Wednesday, March 1 to Sunday, March 5. Every nine years each conference school has the opportunity to host this event. The event has 16 games that are played over a five-day period, beginning with the opening-round games in both the men's and women's division on March 1 and ending with the championship games on March 5. The event is open to the public.
