August 19, 2008 — Saint Leo University has been able to maintain normal operations at its main campus in Pasco County. The university intends to maintain its previously planned schedule of activities for the rest of the week.
Some international students have already arrived on campus for Fall Semester, which begins Aug. 26. New and returning students will arrive over the next several days, in keeping with the appointed times students and their families have already established.
Families may want to allot extra travel time to reach the campus, however, because of the rainy conditions brought on by this slowly-moving storm. Extended forecasts and information on travel routes are available at the Web site for The Weather Channel, at
www.weather.com.
Families with questions on student orientation are invited to consult our special
Web page.
Saint Leo will continue to provide updates as needed from our main campus and our regional teaching locations. We hold the safety of our students, faculty and staff foremost in our considerations.
