Veteran State Legislator Updates University Community on State Issues
ROTC studentsStudents, faculty and all others interested are invited to a conversation at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday in Selby Auditorium with Florida Sen. Victor D. Crist.
The Senator will be able to comment on the state issues raised in the recent election, as well as the difficult budgeting choices Florida legislators will face when they convene in March 2009.
Crist, a Republican, began his legislative service as a representative to the Florida Housein 1992. He was elected in 2000 to the Senate to represent District 12, which includes parts of Pasco and Hillsborough counties. Sen. Crist is now in his final term in the Senate, and will leave office in 2010 because of term limitations.
