Captain Barry Glover
Associate Professor of Criminal Justice
Captain Glover retired as a Detective Captain from the Clearwater, FL, Police Department with 24 years of experience. He commanded the Criminal Investigation Division in Clearwater, which included command responsibility for all major investigations. He is actively involved with the community as a criminal justice educator and consultant in matters of law enforcement administration. Major Royce Decker
Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice
Royce M. Decker currently serves as Captain with the Hernando County Sheriff's Office and has more than 23 years of law enforcement experience. Major Decker obtained his master's degree from the University of South Florida. He has been instructing at Saint Leo University since 1992 and the Southeastern Public Safety Institute of St. Petersburg Junior College since 1988. Over the years, Major Decker has conducted seminars and specialty training for the Florida Sheriff's Association, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the International Association of Law Enforcement Planners, the State Law Enforcement Chief's Association, Clearwater Police Department and Maitland Police Department. William Eble is an experienced criminal defense attorney. He currently is in private practice, but was formerly the chief public defender for Pasco County, FL. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree and specialized in representing capital offense cases.
Chief Deputy Jack Jordan, Esq.
Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice
Chief Deputy Jordan began his career in Criminal Justice as a law enforcement officer in the United States Air Force. Upon completing his military service, Jack became a police officer for the City of St. Petersburg, Florida. He changed agencies and became a police officer for the Clearwater, Florida Police Department where he served admirably until resigning to attend Samford University Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1985. Dr. David Persky earned his JD from Stetson College of Law in St. Petersburg and spent 10 years in the practice of law before joining Saint Leo in 1999. Dr. Persky has defended criminal cases in the 13th Judicial Circuit and has represented the Florida Highway Patrol in criminal forfeiture actions in the 6th, 10th and 13th in addition to his research interest in substance abuse and criminal behavior among college students and adolescents. An active member of the Florida Bar, Dr. Persky contributes his time regularly as a volunteer intake attorney for Bay Area Legal Services in Hillsborough County.
Peter R. Wubbenhorst, Esq.

Peter R. Wubbenhorst, Esq. has been an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Pre-Law Advisor at Saint Leo University since 2002. Professor Wubbenhorst retired as a Supervisory Special Agent of the FBI in 2002, after 22 years of service. For the last 11 years, he was the Chief Division Counsel for the FBI Tampa Division, where he was actively involved in every facet of the FBI’s jurisdiction, including complex terrorism investigations.

Dr. Robert J. Diemer

Dr. Diemer has retired as a career law enforcement officer with over 27 years of varied investigative experience. Dr. Diemer has extensive knowledge in the area of undercover operations and expertise in drug enforcement investigations. Dr. Diemer has served as a Deputy Sheriff, State Coordinator for the Florida Sheriff’s Association Statewide Task Force, and Chief of Investigations for the Florida Department of Environmental Protections Division of Law Enforcement. Dr. Diemer was also responsible for managing and coordinating the operations of the Florida Department of Environmental Protections Environmental Terrorism Response Team. He is an adjunct professor at two universities and a nationally recognized guest lecturer on law enforcement.
