The Exceptional Student Education program is for those educators who wish to increase their knowledge base in the area of special education. It has been designed to provide the knowledge base needed for general educators who wish to expand their areas of certification.
Course work is offered through a blended format with expectations for assignments to be completed in K-12 schools.
The program will take you 24 months to complete. You can enroll in one course every eight weeks totaling twelve courses, equal to 36 semester hours in the program.

Additionally, the Exceptional Student Education program offers an 18-credit hour Graduate Certificate. Students who are interested in earning this certificate can attend classes with degree-seeking students while developing needed skills to be an effective teacher.
