Campus Mailroom Overview
The Campus Mailroom handles all incoming and outgoing mail for Saint Leo University and its residents. All student and department mail boxes are located in the Campus Mailroom building.
Packages arrive in the Campus Mailroom throughout the day and may be picked up during regular service hours (between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday). Campus residents must present a valid picture identification to receive packages. Packages addressed to university personnel will be delivered in the afternoons and must be signed for by a department staff member. In the event that a package cannot be delivered, an attempt will be made to deliver the package on the next business day. If a package is not delivered after a second attempt, e-mail notification will be sent to the addressee requesting that the package be picked up within a set time period. At the end of the set time period, the undelivered package will be returned to the sender.
All mailbox holders must have a mailbox key to access mail. Keys are available to resident students at the Campus Mailroom. No mail (except packages too large for mailboxes) will be distributed through the service window. Mailroom staff members are not permitted to check mailboxes or back room for packages for anyone, except in the event that a mailbox key is lost. A fee of $100 will be charged to the student or department account in the event of a lost mailbox key.
Residents who would like to have their mail forwarded to a new address upon leaving the University must provide self-addressed adhesive labels to the Campus Mailroom. The university will forward mail for three months, or until all the labels are used—whichever comes first.
