Students who have not accessed their courses by the end of drop/add will be automatically dropped from those courses.
1. Your WebCT ID will be the same as your Saint Leo University email username. If you do not know your SLU email username, you can find it by:
- Going to http://my.saintleo.edu
- Clicking on the link entitled “Forgot your Password or Username? Click here!'
- Follow the instructions on the screen. The username provided will also be your WebCT ID. (DL can not provide your WebCT ID for you
2. Use your 7-digit student ID as your WebCT ID password. Please ask your center/advisor for your 7-digit student ID number if you don’t already know it. (This is not your social security number. DL can not provide you with that information).
3. Use MBS Direct's Distance Learning textbook site for textbook information and online ordering. (Go to http://saintleo.blackboard.com (IP address 209.133.92.168) and click on the "Distance Learning Program textbook information and online ordering" link). Textbooks for the current term are posted as soon as they are available. (Please order your textbooks as soon as you are officially registered so you will have them in ample time to begin the course.) You should also verify the title, edition, ISBN, and author on the syllabus as soon as you gain access to your course.
4. On the first day of class, go to http://saintleo.blackboard.com and click on the words "Log in to" in the upper left portion of the screen. Use your WebCT ID (as described in item 2 above) and use your 7 digit student ID provided by your center as your WebCT password. If you do not know your student ID #, please contact your center/advisor and request it. DL can not provide that information.
Please read the note toward the bottom of this page before requesting login assistance from DL. (Warning: the Financial Aid office will revoke your award if you have not accessed each of your courses by the time the drop/add period ends.)
5. If you register after the term starts, please allow up to three business days to get access to your course(s) before contacting anyone for assistance. However, we will set up your access sooner if possible.
6. Once you get familiar with the web site, we strongly encourage you to change your password (for security reasons).
7. Please feel free to contact John Cain (john.cain@saintleo.edu), Director of the Distant Learning Program, with your concerns. Feedback is always welcome. However, please remember that Susan Boyd (dl@saintleo.edu) is your primary contact for WebCT related (non-academic) student issues such as login problems. Email is the preferred method of contact. Include:

Prior Term Links ~
If you would like prior term course links to be removed from your myWebCT home page, send an email to patricia.elder02@saintleo.edu with "Remove Course Links" as the subject. Please include:
- Your full name
- 7 digit student ID (not your social security number)
- A list of the specific course links you would like removed
- Links will be removed as time permits.
If there is any chance you may appeal a grade, please do not ask us to remove the link for that course. Once a link is removed it will not be restored. If you drop or withdraw from a course, your instructor will remove the link after your center has officially removed you from the course. (Pat only removes links to courses from prior terms). Remember: You must contact your center to officially drop or withdraw (or you can drop - but not withdraw - via eLion).
