Founded in 1889, Saint Leo University is a leading Catholic teaching institution that enrolls more than 16,000 students across our traditional Florida campus, more than 40 education center and office locations, and online degree programs.

University-wide, Saint Leo enrolls students from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, four U.S. territories, and more than 60 countries.

Located 30 miles north of Tampa, our liberal arts campus was founded in 1889 by the Order of Saint Benedict of Florida. University Campus hosts traditional undergraduate students and adult students, as well as evening and weekend graduate programs.

A leader in distance and adult education, Saint Leo University is always looking forward, redefining teaching for the 21st century. Our Education Centers bring the resources and benefits of University Campus to students in seven states—including on military bases throughout the nation.
