Biography:

I completed my B.A. and M.A. degrees at the University of South Florida. Thereafter, I taught academic writing courses at USF and Hillsborough Community College-Brandon before joining the faculty at SLU.

My current research interests include the works of Virginia Woolf and J.M. Coetzee, respectively, and critical animal studies. I am currently writing an article on the politics of anthropomorphism, zoomorphism, and the sympathetic imagination in the literature of the above-mentioned authors.

I also am researching the intersections of critical thinking and writing center pedagogies.
