Dr. Nicole D. Hawkins, an Indiana native who currently resides in the greater Atlanta area, has over 20 years of professional experience. Dr. Hawkins is an international speaker and consultant with proven expertise in developing people, organizations and communities in the corporate, government, and academic arenas, as well as, the faith community. Having completed Bachelor and dual Masters Degrees in Communications and Organizational Development at Ball State University, Dr. Hawkins is also a certified life and career coach. With a concentration in Human Resource Development and dissertation work in leader development, Dr. Hawkins completed a Doctorate of Philosophy degree at the School of Business and Leadership of Regent University. Dr. Hawkins dissertation, “Examining the Leader Development Process: The Development and Validation of a Leader Education and Development Model” is published through ProQuest, the online dissertation database. Dr. Hawkins’ research interests include: leader development, organizational behavior and change, and human resource practices. Prior to joining the faculty of Saint Leo University as an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management in the Donald R. Tapia School of Business, she taught as an adjunct professor for Clayton State University and Ohio Christian University’s Morrow, Georgia campus in the areas of Communication, Management and Leadership.

  • Dr. Hawkins volunteers with the United Way of Greater Atlanta serving as the Volunteer Services Committee Chairperson for the Women of Cole Society and is an active member of the Junior League of Atlanta.
