Sha’Leda Mirra, is a married mother of two beautiful daughters, and a native of Lake City, Florida. As a life-long resident in Columbia County, Mrs. Mirra has served as a community activist, advocating for causes such as child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and mental health education within the African American community. In addition, much focus has been devoted to consulting within the spiritual community to improve education and equip the spiritual community with essential resources to resume their role as the help seeking entity within the community. Mrs. Mirra is a graduate of Saint Leo University, receiving two Master’s Degrees in both Criminology and Social Work.  Presently, Mrs. Mirra is actively pursuing her PhD General Psychology with Capella University, and aspires to further her career in higher education and macro level social work endeavors.

Teaching & Professional Interests:

Mrs. Sha’Leda Mirra has a passion for education, as teaching is an integral part of impacting the lives of others within the community and assisting them in achieving self-actualization. Professional interests include teaching for Saint Leo University in the Social Work program, and contributing to the growing organizational objectives, through knowledge, skills, and experience.
