Dr. Spoto has been a part of the Saint Leo University faculty for two decades. She has expertise in English literature, and has been awarded the Maura Snyder Outstanding Faculty Award and the Presidential Appreciation Award (1999-2000). She holds a B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of South Florida.
