Standardized Entrance Exams

Performing well on standardized entrance exams is imperative to increasing the likelihood of acceptance into a desired program of study. All students applying to graduate programs must take standardized entrance examinations as required by the admission committees of the respective programs. The most common exams include the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), and Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT). These highly competitive standardized exams are nationally administered and scored. Admission into graduate and health professional programs require competitive scores be obtained on the appropriate exam. The Committee strongly advises students to utilize the University’s practice test services to become familiar with the exams and testing process early in their academic careers. The scores previously received by Saint Leo University students are vast and only those who planned and pursued a well-structured academic program perform well on these exams.
