Teacher Preparation Program

The Florida Department of Education requires that students in state-approved programs upload certain course assignments to an electronic assessment system in order to demonstrate their mastery of the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPs), Subject Area Competencies, Reading Endorsement Competencies (if applicable), and ESOL standards (if applicable) at the pre-professional level in both the final internship and in required education courses.

The Saint Leo University education programs have chosen to use the Learning Studio (formerly eCollege) Learning Outcomes Manager (LOM) as their electronic assessment system. All students in Saint Leo state-approved education programs are required to upload LOM designated assignments to the Learning Studio course webpage via the My Saint Leo Portal (https://my.saintleo.edu) by the due dates listed in the course syllabi. All LOM assignments must be successfully uploaded and scored prior to receiving a passing grade in the course.
