There is no separate application to be considered for the Honors Program. All students who apply to Saint Leo University will be considered for the program, and will be notified by letter of their status.
Admission is selective, and neither acceptance by the University nor a grant of scholarship is a guarantee of admission to Honors.
The Honors Program seeks to admit students who demonstrate academic accomplishment, and commitment to Saint Leo's core values of excellence, community, respect, personal development, responsible stewardship and integrity.
To graduate from the Honors Program, a student must meet all University graduation requirements with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25, must also achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 in Honors classes, and must complete a senior project with a grade of B- or better.
Any student who receives a grade of less than a B- in any two Honors core courses (excluding English Honors courses) may no longer register for Honors courses or receive further Honors benefits.
