The minor in Education helps prepare students to teach
mathematics at the secondary level. Graduates with Mathematics
degrees work in a variety of industries, including finance,
biotech, government, computer science and insurance. A bachelor’s
degree in math is a useful stepping stone for graduate study in
pure and applied mathematics, medicine, engineering and law. If you
want to teach, many school districts and states will require a
teaching certificate, which may require additional preparation.
