Minor - Sport Hospitality

University Campus

Can you see yourself working in a VIP hospitality tent – entertaining corporate sponsors, athletes, or celebrities – at a major sporting event?

One of the fastest-growing sectors of the sport industry is in the arena of sport hospitality in conjunction with major events at facilities worldwide. A minor in Sport Hospitality can easily combine your passion for sports and entertainment with the fascinating world of corporate hospitality.

The minor in sport hospitality bridges the venues that host sport and entertainment offerings with the corporate hospitality that takes place to ensure sponsorship activation, exclusive client and stakeholder relationship building, and developing networks for future business. The minor combines the foundations of sport business, facility and event management, and economics with the specialized areas of hospitality, including guest services management, meeting and event planning, and event tourism.
