Faculty Resources

Master syllabi

A master syllabus that instructors are required to use has been developed for each University Explorations course. To access the master syllabus for your course, you must log into the Intranet, through the Saint Leo portal. The Intranet is listed in the right-hand side menu. In the Intranet, go to the Academic Affairs tab, then select Master Syllabi in the left-hand menu. Courses are listed by discipline.

A Libguide is an instructional support tool that can be used for quick access to library resources, external webpages and portals, news feeds, embedded videos, E-reserve reading lists, academic assignments and criteria, etc., as well as for faculty websites.

LibGuides have been created for all the University Explorations courses. Some of them are accessible only to instructors, while others are open to the public. They include customized information for each course, including list of books, articles, or videos available in the Cannon Memorial Library; websites of interest; assignments.

Click here to access an alphabetical list of UE Libguide by course code (ENG, FAS, etc.)

For more information about Libguides in general, please contact Dr. Doris VanKampen-Breit.

For information and comments about a specific Libguide, please contact the faculty developer of the Libguide, whose contact information is listed in the Libguide itself.

Course resource shells

A course resources shell containing all the information developed for the online version of the University Explorations courses is available to instructors in Learning Studio.

You may access Learning Studio by logging into the Saint Leo portal. It is listed in the right-hand side menu under Online Services. Once in Learning Studio, select the Courses tab, and click on the arrowhead before the University Explorations – Faculty Resources header, to expand this category. The course resource shell(s) for the course(s) you are teaching should be listed there.

If you do not see the course(s), please contact instructional.technology@saintleo.edu to ask for your name to be added to the shell.
