Thank you for your interest in Saint Leo University’s graduate degree programs. We are pleased to offer our graduate degree programs online and in select cohort locations throughout the state of Florida.

Saint Leo's School of Education & Social Services offers the Specialist in Education (EdS) degree with a concentration in transformational school leadership and Master’s (MEd) degrees with concentrations in Educational Leadership, Instructional Leadership, Exceptional Student Education and Reading, as well as a M.S. in Instructional Design.

To reserve your seat in a program, please submit a completed application and registration form, along with your $80.00 application fee. See steps 1 and 2 below.

Saint Leo University strictly limits enrollment in each program to 25 students and accepts reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.

  Payment Option

As you further your education, costs need not be an obstacle. Financial aid programs are available. Graduate students may be eligible for up to  $20,500 in unsubsidized Stafford loans.

STEP FIVE   Official Transcripts

Saint Leo University requires official transcripts from ALL previously attended colleges and universities.

  Professional Recommendation

STEP SEVEN   Statement of Professional Goals

Complete an essay outlining your professional goals of approximately 250 words for the MEd and EdS programs; 500 words are required for the M.S. program.

STEP NINE   Official Test Scores Required for Master of Education
  - If GPA is Below 3.0 ONLY

Saint Leo requires an official score for either the Graduate Records Exam (GRE) or Miller Analogies Test (MAT) for admission if your last 60 credit hours of upper division coursework that lead to your bachelor’s degree GPA is less than 3.0. If your last 60 credit hour GPA is below 3.0, to have your scores sent to saint Leo University click the appropriate box to the right.

STEP TEN   Statement of Acknowledgement and Understanding

  Mentor Form – Educational Leadership Applicants ONLY

At the time of admission to the off-campus Master of Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership cohort or online program, you must make arrangements for a certified assistant principal or principal who meets the effective leaders’ requirements by the Florida Department of Education to serve as your mentor. Complete and submit the Supervising Administrator / Mentor Agreement form by clicking the box to the right.

STEP TWELVE   Two Performance Evaluations - Educational Leadership Applicants ONLY
Candidates of the Master of Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership cohort or online program must submit two most recent performance evaluations demonstrating instructional expertise.
