Admitted to Saint Leo University? Congratulations!

Be sure to read the entire New Student Checklist to help prepare you for your transition to Saint Leo. To get started, download our 'What's Next?' guide for more information about what you need to do before arriving for the Fall 2013 semester.

  1. Deposit
    Once you have been admitted to Saint Leo University, you will receive an admission packet in the mail. Click here to find out how to make your deposit.
  2. Activate and Access Your Saint Leo Student Email Account
    Download the instructions here for first-time access for Outlook 365 Student Email. For assistance with questions regarding login and email, please contact University Technology Services at (352) 588-8888.
  3. Log In

    U360
    : The Saint Leo University U360 online community is a forum exclusively for students who have deposited and plan to attend SLU in the fall. Here you will be able to interact with future classmates, ask questions, make friends and even select a roommate. You will also submit your housing request to SLU via the U360 community. The community will open on March 22. To access U360, log in here using your Saint Leo email address as the username and the initial password: 2017lions

    MySaintLeo: Instructions for accessing MySaintLeo can be found here. MySaintLeo is where you can review, accept and reject financial aid. Once you become a student, you will use the portal to register for classes and access academic information.

    eLion: eLion is an online portal that allows students to check email, class schedules, account balances, and other important student-related information. Your eLion password is the first initial of first name, first initial of last name, followed by last four digits of your Social Security number (Example: DJ1234).
  4. Plan to Attend New Student Orientation
    All incoming freshmen must participate in the New Student Orientation event to be held prior to the start of the semester unless other arrangements have been made. Details about this important event are provided on the web.
  5. Complete All Required Forms & Tasks
    All incoming students who have submitted their deposits will need to review information regarding orientation registration, health forms, insurance information, housing and more.   • Review our helpful 'What's Next?' guide to learn more about important documents and deadlines.
  • Complete the Student Health History Form. Deadline: August 1, 2013
  • Review the Immunization Form Instructions in detail and then complete the Immunization Form. Note: This form requires signatures from a physician or public health official, as well as the signature of a parent/guardian if student is under the age of 18. Deadline: August 1, 2013
  • Review information concerning health insurance requirements and complete the health insurance waiver if desired. 2013-2014 information including premiums, waiver access, and deadlines will be posted here when available. Note: International students may not waive this coverage unless they have coverage with a U.S. provider. Waiver deadline: September 10, 2013
  • Review and complete the Residence Hall Agreement. Required for all campus resident students only. Residence hall assignments will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Deadline: July 5, 2013
  • Review and complete the Emergency Contact Information Form.
  • Complete the Student ID photo submission process. Completing the request online will help avoid long lines at the beginning of the semester. Once we receive this request we will make the ID and it will be available for pick up upon arrival on campus in the fall.
  • If you plan to have a car on campus, purchase a Parking Decal.
  • Have your parents complete the Parent Communication Form.

First-Time, First-Year Students

Course Registration

First-time, first-year students must complete an online registration schedule questionnaire in order to have their class schedules created. Complete the form online by the deadline of June 15, 2013.
 
ETS Proficiency Profile

First-time, first-year students must complete the ETS Proficiency Profile assessment. The online tool is intended to document your skills as you enter the university. It is not used to compare you to other students or to place you in classes. Complete information about the ETS Profile is available at www.saintleo.edu/proficiencyprofile. The deadline for completing the assessment is August 1, 2013.

Placement Testing

Some incoming freshmen will need to complete placement testing in both math and English prior to their arrival on campus.

Students meeting any of the following requirements do not need to complete placement testing:

  • Bridge Program participant
  • Honors Program participant (or eligible, with 3.5 GPA, SAT of 1150+ or ACT of 25+)
  • LEAP Program participant

Additional information regarding placement testing will be available here after May 15, 2013.

International Students

Ensure all required documents are complete:

  • F1 Visa obtained
  • I-20, passport and all support documents for travel are obtained and in hand
