  • Credit for military courses and training may be granted, based on formal evaluation by the Registrar and credit recommendations in the guides to the evaluation of military credit published by the American Council on Education (ACE). • SLU recognizes the following standardized examinations at the credit levels recommended by the respective testing services: (1) Excelsior College Examinations (formerly ACT PEP: Regents), (2) College Level Examination Program (CLEP) general examinations and specific subtests, and (3) Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES).
