Florida’s law enforcement officer of the year is one of Saint Leo University’s own. Captain Buddy Grant was recently bestowed the honor by the Grand du Florida of La Societe des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux, a fraternal society for veterans more commonly known as the Forty and Eight.
