Virginia Commencement Held Saturday

It is fitting that Saint Leo University held its Virginia commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16, which is designated as Armed Forces Day in the United States.
Saint Leo has a more than 40-year history of educating military members, veterans, ROTC, and their families. At Saturday’s commencement ceremony for all Saint Leo’s Virginia-area education centers and offices, more than 350 graduates were veterans and more than 100 were active duty military. More than 700 students graduated during the Virginia ceremony held at the Hampton University Convocation Center.
Addressing the graduates was Lt. Gen. Robert B. Neller, commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command. Dr. Arthur F. Kirk, Jr., university president, presented the students with their diplomas.
