Alumni Population Nearly 60,000 Strong

The final 2010 commencement ceremonies for Saint Leo University were held in Corpus Christi, Texas; Savannah, Ga., and Palatka, Fla., last Friday and Saturday. Most of the degrees awarded were bachelor’s degrees, but other happy graduates were awarded associate degrees and master’s degrees.

By the time all the new (and some returning) Saint Leo graduates had turned their tassels, the university had hosted 15 commencement ceremonies. A new state was added to the site list in 2010: the Continuing Education Center at the U.S. Air Force Base in Columbus, Miss., which opened in 2008, graduated its first class.

The complete list of states where the university proudly hosts commencement ceremonies is Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Texas and Mississippi. Several photo galleries are posted on the university home page, and additional coverage will appear in the upcoming issue of Spirit magazine.
