Christmas Events Planned at University Campus

The public is invited to these events at University Campus to celebrate the Christmas season.

Blessed Mother and Baby in manger

Thursday, November 30  – The festive traditions of blessing the manger and lighting the campus Christmas tree are sponsored by Student Activities and Campus Ministries, and will take placeat 6 p.m.  in front of the clock tower outside the Student Activities building. For those driving to campus to participate, enter using the main entrance at 33701 State Road 52, St. Leo, FL, 33574, and park in a surface lot or the campus garage.

 

 

 

Indoors at the Black Box Theatre

Christmas Concert

The Black Box Theatre is in Benedictine Hall, at the west end of the campus, closer to the Interstate 75 interchange. Benedictine Hall has its own parking lot and entrance before the main campus roadway. The theatre is on the first floor of Benedictine Hall.

Thursday, November 30, and Friday, December 1, 4 p.m., both days – “A Saint Leo Christmas,” the annual program of songs and spoken word returns will return. Seats for these 4 p.m. shows are first-come, first-served. Guests are advised to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the concert begins to ensure seating.

Unfortunately, all seats for 7 p.m. shows on the same days are completely taken.

For those who want to attend the 4 p.m. concert on November 30, and then the tree lighting and manger blessing, it is advisable to drive first to Benedictine Hall for the concert. Then, retrieve vehicles and make the short drive east on State Road 52 into the main entrance and park.  Walk toward the clock tower to find the tree and manger.
