Commencement Ceremony Set for May 7 in Tallahassee

Twenty-six adult learners are participating in a Saint Leo
University commencement ceremony in Tallahassee at 11 a.m.,
Saturday, May 7, at Tallahassee Community College.
The majority of the participants have earned the Bachelor of Arts
degree in either criminal justice or psychology. In addition,
graduate degrees will be conferred to three students, in the
academic fields of business administration, criminal justice, and
instructional design.
The new graduates will be addressed by Tallahassee Community
College President Jim Murdaugh (pictured), who earned his doctorate
in public administration from Florida State University. He also
holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in criminology and is a
veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He was called to active duty
during both Gulf Wars.
In addition, two students have been selected to deliver class
farewell addresses: Shawn C. Bezwiechin, who has earned the
Bachelor of Arts cum laude in psychology; and John Bales, who
graduates with the Bachelor of Arts cum laude in criminal
justice.
