Expert on Business Quality Programs at Main Campus Saturday

The public is invited to hear one of Florida’s experts on leading quality-enhancement programs at small businesses, local government offices, and non-profit organizations at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 13, in Selby Auditorium at the main campus.
Pat Sciarappa, the organizational development director of the Florida Sterling Council, will speak as part on the Master of Business Administration program’s ongoing Lunch-and-Learn series. The Lunch-and-Learn program brings business experts to campus from time to time to to share their insights with Saint Leo students earning their MBA degrees by attending Saturday classes. Community residents are welcome. A light lunch will be served at the event.
During Saturday’s presentation, Ms. Sciarappa will draw from her
experience at the Florida Sterling Council (www.floridasterling.com), which assists
organizations in applying proven standards of excellence to enhance
their own operations and improve overall results and customer
satisfaction. The Council has created the Sterling Management
Model, based on the National Malcolm Baldridge Criteria for
Performance Excellence. Each year, the council
presents Florida organizations that demonstrate the successful use of quality-assurance and strategic planning measures the Governor’s Sterling Award.
