Golfing Great Sorenstam Appears at Saint Leo

LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam captivated the attention of Lions throughout the day on February 3 during a visit to University Campus. Members of the women’s golf team were able to visit with Sorenstam early in the day during a private golf clinic at neighboring Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. Later, some 350 people listened to a motivational speech she delivered during the annual Girls and Women in Sports Celebration, held in the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
