Local Chamber Honors SLU

November 12, 2009

Saint Leo University has been honored as the “Large Business of the Year' by the Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce for the university’s contributions to education in east Pasco County. Dade City is directly east of the town of Saint Leo, where the main campus is located, and also is the county seat of Pasco. Dave Ostrander, vice president for University Advancement, was pleased to accept the award on behalf of the university at a banquet on November 5.

The banquet also featured the talents of violinist and director of the SLU String Ensemble, Kasia Dolinska (pictured), who performed a variety of classical works during the event.
