New Class Gets Acquainted
June 30, 2010
A new student orientation is planned for Saturday and Sunday July 10-11, for students who will be attending college for the first time, and for their parents and other family members. The two days provide useful information for both groups.
Topics to be covered will include the many services the university offers, an introduction to academic life and residence halls, and financial matters.
The schedule also includes tours and other fun activities to help participants make new friends.
The second orientation session this summer will be held from Saturday to Monday, August 21-23. This session is for students who have attended college previously. Many are transferring to Saint Leo.
These students will be given campus tours and an overview of academic procedures and requirements, residential life, and support services. This orientation is timed to lead into the start of classes on Tuesday, August 24.
