Popular University Campus Christmas Program on December 2
November 18, 2014
The School of Art and Sciences and Department of English, Fine Arts, and Humanities once again presents “A Saint Leo Christmas,” with two performances at University Campus on Tuesday, December 2. The performance times are 4 p.m. and at 7 p.m., and the concert will take place in the Greenfelder-Denlinger Boardrooms of the Student Community Center.
While admission is free to this community event, ticket reservations are required to ensure seating at the 7 p.m. show. Faculty, staff, parents, and community members are asked to contact Tamra Hunt in the School of Arts and Science by email at email@example.com or by phone at (352) 588-8294 to make a reservation for the evening show. Following the conclusion of the 7 p.m. program, the audience is invited outdoors to view the blessing of the campus manger and the lighting of the campus Christmas tree.
“A Saint Leo Christmas” features both musical and spoken word performances. Gianna Russo, published poet and Saint Leo faculty member, will serve as the mistress of ceremonies. The choral groups The Saint Leo Singers (student choir), Just the FACTS (the faculty-staff choir) and SASS (a female student group named for sopranos, altos, and second sopranos) all will perform. The Jazz Ensemble and String Ensemble also will perform. (Photos from 2013 performances.)
Parking is available in the campus garage and in the evening is also available in surface lots. University Campus is located at 33701 State Road 52 in east Pasco County, four miles east of Interstate 75 (Exit 285).
