Saint Leo University welcomed more than 30 new faculty members to the university this month. “This is such an impressive group,” said Dr. Maribeth Durst, vice president of academic affairs. In its faculty selection, Saint Leo hires those candidates who, in addition to possessing strong academic credentials in their fields, demonstrate an eagerness to work in student-centered environment offering small classes and individual attention.

New faculty members have been appointed to each of the university’s three schools: Arts & Sciences, Education and Social Services, and the Donald R. Tapia School of Business. Some will teach at University Campus, while others will be located at one of the university’s teaching locations in seven states. Some may teach courses online, as well.
