Students Learn Keys to Balancing Personal and Professional Lives
November 17, 2009
Fort Lauderdale
businessman H. Wayne Huizenga Jr. visited Saint Leo University to
speak to students on the importance of creating a personal legacy
of character and integrity not only in their professional lives,
but in their personal lives, as well. Huizenga is president of the
prominent South Florida family-owned company that manages private
businesses and real estate.
Huizenga drew from personal experience and from a Christian
curriculum for CEOs. He advised the audience of about 200 young
people to balance and to link their work lives, their personal
lives, and their spiritual lives. During his presentation Huizenga
also told his audience that he believes strongly that leaders must
always do what they say they will do. Business experience, he said,
taught him this lesson.
