Time Sheet Protocol

Student Employment is considered part time temporary employment. Students can work a maximum of 20 hours per week. Your hourly rate is based on skill and academic level. You should review the Classification/Compensation table to confirm your hourly rate of pay.

IMPORTANT:

  • Students are not permitted to begin working until approved by the Student Employment department.
  • Please complete your time sheet accurately.
  • Submit your time sheet to your supervisor per the payroll schedule.
  • Falsification of a time sheet is grounds for immediate termination or probation.

NOTE: If you are a Federal Work Study recipient, your employment will end or transfer when you have earned the max amount of the FWS award. It is your responsibility to monitor your FWS earnings so that you do NOT exceed the amount of your award. Students may verify if they are awarded federal work study by checking their financial aid awards in eLion.
