About the Group

Between the skill building and the exposure in the Writer's Den publication, members enhance their writing ability, get to share their creative works with their peers, and network with other students, faculty, and staff. Form and/or genre are not an issue as the main purpose of the group is for the individual to strengthen their writing skills. By posting original work on the group message board, group members offer feedback regarding grammar, punctuation, and clarity for perfection of ability and talent. After the material is reviewed and permission given by author, the work is reviewed for publication in the club's eMagazine, The Writer's Den.

The Writer's Den

The Writer's Den is a collection of creative works by the COL community that are reviewed, selected, and featured on Saint Leo University's website. Having your work published in the eMagazine provides a great way for the author to gain recognition and exposure, as well as sharing your work with family and friends. Publication of any kind is favorable if you intend to continue writing and submiting your works to a major publisher.

Membership

The writers group is a group for all COL students, staff, and faculty members who enjoy the various aspects of creative writing.
