Psychology Club

The Saint Leo University Psychology Club is open to any student interested in learning more about the field of psychology. The club meets on a regular basis to plan upcoming events such as presentations by guest speakers, fund raisers, field trips to tour nearby mental health institutions, and club parties.

The Psychology Club is an officially recognized organization of Saint Leo University, with a president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, activities director, advertising director, student government union representative and faculty mentors. The Student Government Union provides funds to help defray the club's expenses, and club members engage in fund raising events such as bake sales, raffles, and car washes for additional funding.

While the primary goal of the club is to provide interesting and informative learning experiences beyond those offered in the regular psychology program, the club also offers a chance for its members to meet other students with interests similar to their own, and to get to know the psychology faculty on a more informal basis.

Students can also learn useful organizational and leadership skills while serving as an officer of the club or by serving on committees involved in planning various club activities.

The Psychology Club is growing and improving, and we are very excited about the coming year. Participation is not only great for your vita, but also a good networking opportunity and source of funding for attending conferences.

Currently, meetings are held on alternating Monday evenings from 5:30-6:00 in Saint Edward Hall #321.
