New Student Information

Fall 2015 incoming students who live on campus will receive a new laptop (configuration details to be determined)*. Computer equipment is issued at New Student Orientation.

The laptop connects to network ports in the residence hall rooms or the wireless network that serves much of the University campus. Students use the computers for both academic and personal interests as they develop skills and knowledge that accentuate their formal education.

Support for the laptop program is provided by University Technology Services. This support includes trouble-shooting, repairs, and educational services. It is highly recommended that students provide their own thumb drives or utilize an online service such as SkyDrive to save personal files when getting repairs done on their computer or device.

*New student laptop configuration and software package information will be provided on this page once the final configuration is complete.
