New Student Information

Resident First-Year Students

This year's incoming first-year students who live on campus will be eligible for a Microsoft Surface 3. Inventory is limited and substitutions will be made when inventory is exhausted. Incoming new (non-transfer) students received by email information about obtaining a device. Computer equipment is issued by request at the University Technology Services building.

The Microsoft Surface 3 connects across the wireless network in the residence hall rooms and academic buildings which serve much of the University campus. Students use the computers for both academic and personal interests as they develop skills and knowledge that accentuate their formal education. See details of the no-cost rental agreement.

Resident Transfer Students

Each year Saint Leo reviews our technology program to ensure that we are providing students with top technology and support. Full-time transfer students who live on campus and who will not be bringing their own technology will be eligible for a compliant device available on a first-come, first-served limited basis. See details of the no-cost rental agreement.

Commuter and Part-Time Students

Each semester University Technology Services offers Saint Leo University commuter and part-time students access to a fee-based laptop rental program. In addition to access of the many student computer labs located throughout campus, commuter and part-time students may rent University issued equipment by semester. See details of the fee-based rental agreement.

Support for rental programs is provided by University Technology Services. This support includes troubleshooting, repairs, and educational services.
