University Application Development & Support

University Technology Services coordinates with members of the University to provide customized solution recommendations which are tailored to support both individual and University specific needs.

IT specialists are on staff to provide assessments of requested solutions, including:

  • Analysis of commercial off-the-shelf products discovered by the business owner(s).
  • Review of the existing University Software Catalog to determine if a suitable application already exists within the Saint Leo environment.
  • Industry research to discover if a product solution already exists which may align with the business requirements.
  • Design of customized solutions in cases where there is not an existing solution or the requested solution is cost prohibitive. 

UTS supports the following application integration types:

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System: Colleague

Ellucian (Formerly Datatel) Colleague is the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management system used by Saint Leo University. University Technology Service provides administration and maintenance for this application. Access requests must be placed through UTS. Approval will be required before access will be granted.

Auxiliary System Support

Event Scheduling (R25)
25Live is the event management system used by Saint Leo University. UTS functions as host and administrator for this application. All University employees should have user access to this program to request event reservations. Should additional access be required, a request may be placed with UTS. Please direct questions about the locations to the appointed location representatives.

Document Imaging (Etrieve)
Etrieve is the Document Imaging system used by Saint Leo University. This system provides a repository for electronic copies of physical documents. These electronic documents are sorted and filed in secured electronic file cabinets. Etrieve is used by departments throughout the University to upload, store, and access important documentation. Access requests for Etrieve may be made through UTS. Approval and workstation configuration are required for access.

Reporting & Analytics

University Technology Services provides Reporting services for the Ellucian Colleague System. Technicians are available to assist with Report building, training, and scheduling. These reports may be retrieved via webpage or email. Reports may also be processed through Tableau, which offers a visual dashboard of data.
